Who resembles God’ is the meaning of name Michelle. Every one of us has a clandestine desire to meet God, or the one looks like him. When Michelle met Barack
Michelle met her husband at the law firm where the two were working. At the firm, they were the only two African Americans and she was allocated the task of mentoring him. If reports are to be believed, Barack did not have an inclination towards corporate law, but was inclined towards Michelle.
 
Initially Barack’s efforts to win Michelle’s heart went in vain as she thought it would be too complicated. As they were working in the same organization, he was an intern and she was higher in the corporate hierarchy. But, love acknowledges no boundaries and they were soon bonded by love. The couple went to Spike Lee movie, ‘Do the Right Thing for their first date’.
 
When contemplating her first career move she requested Barack to meet her prospective boss. Now, she is her husband’s closest advisor. The lovers vowed to be together till death to them apart in October 18, 1992. When she was quizzed on what made her fall in love with Barack, she voiced, “For the same reason many other people respect him; his connection with people.”
 
After a long gap of seven years the couple had children. Malia Ann Obama, their first daughter was born in 1999. In 2001 they were again blessed with a daughter named Natasha.
 

Michelle’s rocking career
Former associate dean at the University of Chicago, a member of six boards of directors including the prestigious Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools and Tree House Foods; and Vice President, Community and External Affairs at the University of Chicago Hospitals…..are the designations Michelle has held with conviction and dedication.
 
In May 2006, Essence magazine counted her amongst the ‘25 World’s Most Inspiring Women’. The following year she was listed as the 58th amongst the 100 most influential Harvard alumni. Her husband ranked fourth.
 
In 2007, she took time off her professional liabilities and supported her husband’s presidential campaign. At first, she had confined her involvement but in 2008, she was an active part of thirty three events in eight days. Leaving no stone unturned for campaigning, she made two appearances at the Oprah Winfrey show.

Michelle the family person
A run on the treadmill at 4:30 am opens Michell’s day. By 9:30pm she wraps up everything and sleeps like a baby. A usual day in her life has everything well organized and chalked out. Disciplined Michelle crafts to – do list for her daughters that encompass even play time. Every Sunday, Obama family visits the Trinity United Church of Christ.
 
The recently announced Vanity Fair’s Best Dressed list has Michelle Obama’s name on the top. OctanMen, online men’s magazine, congratulates the celebrity on beating Sarah Jessica Parker, Kayne West, Brad and Angelina to win the title. Bravo!!
